Single affect- To find happiness, one must be open to everything around him, enjoy life, and not let anything slip away.
Three contributing factors- The narrator and the girl have matching gloves.
The way he avoided eye contact with the girl.
The way the camera was up in his face.
If there was no music in the film, the dramatic parts would have been less dramatic and the happy parts would have been less happy. The music allowed us to feel what the narrator was feeling.
